Anything else?
I came in on Friday 21st June at 06.30 and other than a slight delay in going down for the operation, I cannot fault the hospital in any way. Accommodation, staff and food were first class. I was given the choice of either a full anaesthetic or a local lower back injection. I chose the latter and had no problems, with a quicker recovery. The ward staff were very attentive, always asking whether I had any pain and if so attending to it. De La Mare ward was the ward where I was in their excellent care. The food was very good with a large range of cold or hot cooked items. The ward itself was kept very clean. Overall I could find no reason to complain about my four day visit. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hospital for this surgery. Finally I would like to thank the doctor and his team for their care and attention to me during the operation
