"All excellent but: why so much paper - including the questionnaire?"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

All excellent but: why so much paper - including the questionnaire?

I had a book confirmation, and the reminder 24 hours later.

Then a written duplicate confirmation.

Each costs 31p in postage, 5p in stationary, ? in time.

One or two emails would suffice. Leaflets need only to be sent to non-replicate emails.

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to note that your experience was a positive one as Tthe TRAQS team aim to provide a high quality, effiicient service for all patients.

As part of the TRAQS process the team request feedback for each individual referral episode as not all experiences are the same. It seems from the information you have provided that a reminder letter may have been sent due to an unsuccessful contact attempt. You then contacted TRAQS in response to the missed phone call., This can occasionally happen, especially if the reminder letter has already been through the post room..

Unfortunately at present we are unable to send patient identifiable data through normal email accounts due to Patient Confidentiality therefore all confirmation letters have to be sent by post. Thank you again for taking the time to provide the team with feedback, we appreciate all comments which help us to develop the service further for the benefit of the patients using our service.
