Cheddar Somerset I found the hospital was welcoming. The consultant I saw was excellent and very thorough. My appointment was on time and she activated treatment for my medical problem. I couldn't wish for better!This was a relief after some dire experiences at Weston General Hospital, at Weston -Super -Mare. I was appalled to hear that they are going to close this excellent hospital and also Bridgewater Hospital as well! This hospital has an excellent reputation and it is pure madness to close this hospital that has served the community so well. Why has there been nothing in the press? Who made this ridiculous decision? After the scandal of the hospitals in the Midlands there is no need to close the good hospitals. Apart from the fact that the hospital is modern and up to date its situation is excellent for a rural area like ours. from Mrs D. McAllister.
