I cannot overstate how impressed I am by all the staff I came into contact with. From consultants all the way through to the tea lady. The pre-assessment nurses were prompt and professional in carrying out their checks and advising on a more healthy lifestyle without being judgemental. Advice I have followed to good effect. The surgeon and anaesthetist were unhurried and very clear as to what was to be done, how and why. On the day of the operation everything went to plan and I was kept in the picture at each stage of the process by kind and caring staff. Post-op recovery was painless and stress free, just the right combination of careful attention and being allowed to recover at my own pace. Many thanks to all concerned. Jim Hughes
