Have had many, many minor operations at this hospital mostly as a day patient but there has been an overnght stay on one occasion and a two day stay on another. The longest stay in this hospital has been five days when I had a complete knee replacement. The staff are always pleasant and quick to help if you need them. The food is also excellent and is produced locally in the hospital kitchens. I have no complaints on this hospital and would certainly prefer it to others in the area. Currently waiting for cataract surgery on one eye. I had a choice of eight hospitals in the Greater Manchester area for this operation (including the privately run Highfield at Rochdale) and I have chosen Oldham..
