"Sunrise ward - more like sunset"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

Anything else?

It says a lot when the only signs of dignity and respect shown are by that of student nurses. The ward lacks any respect, warmth or consideration you would hope the older generation deserve. The night staff are shocking, with most patients left to urinate in their beds. Finally it's chaotic, lacks any form of empathy and don't even think of calling PALS The patient and liaison service as they have an answering machine service stating that they aim to call you back with 48 hours. (Which they never do)

I am extremely disappointed to hear that you were unhappy with the care provided at Queen’s, and in particular the alarming issues you have raised. I would be grateful if you could contact me directly, via the switchboard, with details of when and where you were treated so I can follow this up with the matron and ward staff. Yours sincerely Flo Panel-Coates Director of Nursing
