"Chairs for visitors"

i visited a friend this pm in the Stroke Unit, I am 80 years of age ,diabled and had to stand for the whole visit as there were not any chairs for visitors, the nursing staff were of no help, I am sure if they had botherd to look they could have found a chair Why no chairs for visitors is the hospital so short of money that they are asking people to stand for a two hour visit Please solve this problem asap as many of us find it difficult to stand for and patients need to have visitors
