What could be improved
Peopling skills of the staff. A hospital is for the care of patients not the convenience of the staff. I was given the ward number for my mother who was an inpatient after a fall at home. I live far away and was of course concerned about her.
When I phoned a member of the staff said "I can't be getting the phone for THAT WOMAN all the time. Get her mobile and bring it to her, you can use that." I explained that I lived far away otherwise I would visit and then was given a tirade of what the member of staff has to do. Not veryreassuring for me as to the care my mother was receiving.
"Sorry nothing!"
