Recently been an out patient to Gynecology Dept. and have been waiting for results for cancer. From taking the biopsy to today when I had my results I have been treated with dignity and kindness. The NHS get some bad press but I believe it is staff like this that make a hospital what it is. When I was ringing in floods of tears because my results hadn't come back the staff were so caring even though they couldnt give me the answers I wanted. It is easy to think you are the only patient in the world and forget about all the other thousands of patients who are being looked after. The NHS isnt perfect, but as a country we are so lucky to have it. Was goods news for me today but my thoughts are with other patients at this time.
