"Surgery on two broken arms"

About: Broomfield Hospital

Anything else?

I suffered severe fractures to both my arms in Germany and had to fly back to the UK for treatment. I was living in Denmark at the time and the surgeon was very considerate of my need to make a speedy return and recovery. I was treated with the utmost respect and all times, was fully involved in the decision of treatment process and the treatment was then delivered quickly and efficiently and has been very successful. I was provided with clean and private facilities and was impressed with the attitudes and professionalism of all staff I encountered. The only complaints I would have is that the food provided at dinner time was poor (mainly due to the time of my surgery) and an IV needle was left in my leg longer than necessary, besides this I would still recommend the service to anyone.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the care you received at the hospital. It is good to hear that you were pleased with the service you received.

I will pass on your comments regarding the meals to our catering department. I am sorry to hear about the incident regarding your IV needle. If you would like to contact me on 01245 514460 I would be happy to investigate this further.

Many thanks

Helen West
