My daughter was given the wrong prescription, even though we had told the doctor what my daughter has been diagnosed with. When I went to the pharmacy I checked with them if the medication was safe to take, and I was told that the medication that had been prescribed was extremely dangerous for my daughter to take with her diagnosis. I would also like to add that the doctor in question had a very bad attitude problem, I went back to her to ask her to change the prescription, she refused, and said I should be grateful that she even done the first precscription. I then became very distressed and asked for the complaints procedure she refused to give it to me and then started to shout at me in front of my children. I am left very nervous to think that if I wasn't alert what would have happened. I will be making a formal complaint to BMA. These are chidrens lives that are being played with.
