my partner was admitted recently to this trust for surgery, he has been under the hospital for a couple of years now although we tried putting off the surgery because of complaints and problems with the NHS and also the comments on here. anyway we could no longer put the op off and reluctantly attended the hospital for his admission, on arrival the staff were extremely attentive the ward is a very new ward and the member of staff who showed my partner to his bed space was very bubbly and friendly she explained the whole process to us clearly and put are minds at rest, unfortunately i cannot remember her name she wore a white top different from other staff members we sore who were in stripes. i have read through each of the comments again and im unsure if we are talking about the same hospital it was clean organized staff were lovely and approachable and always stopped to make sure all was ok. my partner was more than happy and surprised in the care he received as he was expecting it to be awful, the good opinions on this site are above excellent and the poor experiences are the extremes which make me wonder if it is all down to personal preferences. thank you Walton centre thank you chavasse ward.
