Having had a total knee replacement approx. 18 months ago, I came to realise that I was going to need a hip replacement and as a result of relocation the hospital of choice was now Pontefract. I had reservations about this due to being treated originally at Pinderfields by an excellent team and was quite happy about going in again; however, following my pre op talks at Pontefract I was impressed. I have now had my op and am now recovering at home with little pain but I would like to say that I have the highest regard for all the team who treated me with dignity and respect throughout and who made my recovery so much easier. To all the surgical team, please keep up your excellent skills , you have my thanks.
