"Waiting times both in A & E and for an Ambulance"

About: North Manchester General Hospital

Anything else?

My mother is unfortuneately in a care home. I recieved a telephone call form her care home informing me that, she'd had another fall and all was ok and that, she was being monitored. However, after as I understand the doctor visited the following day and again as far as I know she was taken to North Manchester where, she had an x-ray. On the 13th of June 2013 at 11:30 my mother was taken to the hospital along with one of the carers that she knows. My mother has Altzhiemers and is without a doubt vulnerable !!!! after arriving she had been eventually seen at 14:00 and an x-ray was done. At 15:30 some 90 mins later she went into the treatment room but only after waiting 90 minutes. Although that was not at all the biggest issue since between 15:30 and 20:00 she waited four and a half hours before being taken up to J5 Ward where she waited a further 60 minutes before transport could be arranged and sort in order that she could be taken back to her care home.
