"I am a human and it hurts to be treated this way"

I am a person who suffered recurrent miscarriages in the past, recent one being two weeks back.

I was under the care of a Gynaecologist in Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast for my 4th and 5th pregnancy which sadly ended in a miscarriage. I remember phoning my consultant several times on the day I was miscarrying my 5th (which then I didn't know if I was as I was put on some injections) but could not get through to him so left a message with his secretary who promised she would pass on my message. I thought it would be helpful if I emailed him my situation which I did immediately.

On the same day I also tried contacting the consultant to whom my Gynaecologist referred me to for the treatment toward my 5th pregnancy who asked me to contact him if I had any questions. This was a joke as there was no one to respond to my calls when I desperately needed them.

To be honest I am still waiting for someone to come back to me. I had the worst miscarriage both physically and emotionally under the care of these 2 doctors. I do not expect them to stop what was happening to me then but I will question the care aspect during that treatment they offered both before and after. Or God forbid they go through the same loss before they understand what it feels to be in my shoes.
