"Mothers care elderly"

About: Bassetlaw Hospital

Anything else?

My mother was treated badly at this hospital. Some staff were wonderful but most treated the elderly as nothing more than an inconvenience. We weren't informed of her condition and would ask on visiting but told the nurse dealing with her care isn't available but will come to you when she is. She never did even after 4 times of asking. My mother had bed sores and it wasn't until social services were informed that she got the treatment she needed eg special mattress. Her buzzer wasn't with in reach neither was water yet the sheets the staff filled in said that they were. After social worker had been round they were close at hand.
