my overall stay in Torbay Hospital was one week. My consultant Gastroenterologist has demonstrated total commitment in caring for me,I could not have received better care,his team of doctors were also very good,taking their time to explain everything to me,nothing was too much trouble. The nurses were so dedicated,they never seemed to stop and yet,showed plenty of compassion,they really cared. The ward(Cromie) was kept immaculate,I was aware of this because I had time,whilst resting,to observe what was going on around me,Domestic staff were also very friendly. The Endoscopy unit was very well organised,nurses again were very dedicated,I felt secure in their care,they were all very kind, as was another Doctor who I saw. Hutchings ward was where I was treated as an outpatient,I was seen promptly,nurses took the time to communicate and were very friendly. I was very fortunate to receive such good care.I would strongly recommend this Hospital to friends and family. Well Done to everyone!
