Anything else?
My GP asked me to have a blood test at the Royal Free, which I wasn't looking forward to as it's not an easy place for me to get to really. I went on a Saturday morning, parking close to the hospital. I put a couple of hours on the meter to be on the safe side and allow me to have breakfast afterwards as I'd been fasting since lunchtime the previous day. When I got the clinic about 15 minutes before it opened, there were around 20 people already waitinhg outside. I began to wonder if I would ever get that breakfast. Once the doors opened, we were booked in quickly and clearly enough phlebotomists were on duty to make quick in-roads in the numbers waiting. It was maybe 5-10 minutes before I was called and the procedure itself was quick and easy. All in all I was out within 15 minutes and that breakast tasted good!
