"Time spent on SAU after A&E"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

Anything else?

I have just spent just over a week on SAU after being admitted through A&E and cannot praise the staff highly enough. From my consultant to the chap who comes round with the tea and everybody in between they were so profesional, caring and genuinely happy to help and support me. When I arrived on the ward I was in agony and very distressed and the nurses sat with me for an age while the medication took affect and this was on a very busy Monday evening, nothing was too much bother they were just superb and I cant begin to thank them all enough. The care that I recieved over the next week or so was first class, we are very lucky to have a world leading facillity like this on our doorstep.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on the NHS Choices Website. We would like to offer our apologies for the delay in responding to your comments. Your compliment regarding the Emergency Department and SAU will be passed to the appropriate manager who will share this with the staff concerned. Staff are always appreciative when a patient takes the time to give some positive feedback. Kind regards The Patient Experience Team UHSM
