My daughters GP requested an appointment for a pediatrican back in July last year it is now June the following year and despite my surgery and myself following it up she still has not received an appointment . I was willing to take this as a clerical error but found out today that blood tests my daughter took a year ago due to ill health and a condition she has that causes tumours were lost . I phoned to check these blood tests were ok but was assured that the hospital would contact my surgery if something was wrong . Obviously this way of determining wether or not there is a problem with bloods does not really cover the eventuality of when bloods are lost. If my daughter turns out to be seriously ill and it has gone untreated because of this I will take the matter further . No I would not recommend this hospital to anyone .I will have to say however the staff are pleasant but that does not make up for the other failings .
