"Very fast treatment fro A&E ..."

In the Lister’s A&E, our staff aim to treat all of our patients as quickly as possible without compromising the care received. They work constantly to meet the target of 98% of patients being treated within four hours of their arrival. It is good to receive feedback that reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff and your kind comments have been forwarded on to the A&E team at the hospital.

With regard to the waiting area space, this will be addressed when major rebuilding and refurbishment takes place at the Lister in a year or two’s time, when the hospital expands to become the centre for emergency and acute care for east and north Hertfordshire.
