"Pemberton Ward: ALL the staff, every day, all day, treated him with dignity"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

My husband was recently admitted to Pemberton Ward in Wigan Infirmary.

The care, kindness and compassion he received was way above what we expected. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was explained to us, and he was kept informed about his treatment at all times.

The cleanliness of his room was excellent. Good choice of meals.

ALL the staff, every day, all day, treated him with dignity which is important to an 82 year old man.

We cannot thank everyone enough for his care and well being. They were all so pleasant and cheerful.

Thank you for posting your kind comments regarding Pemberton Ward at RAEI. It is always appreciated when someone takes the time to let us know about their experience, and in particular when we can make the staff aware of positive feedback received through this medium. Your posting has been shared with the staff on Pemberton ward through the Head of Nursing and the Matron responsible for this area.

May I also extend our best wishes to your husband.

Kind regards
