"The Crisis Team "

About: Adult mental health / Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I got a referral from A&E in the early hours and was told that the crisis team would phone me in the morning. They phoned me at 12pm and told me "we don't have capacity to see patients today"... I asked for an emergency appointment at my GPs after that (who were very good), and they phoned the crisis team...

The crisis team phoned me early evening. I had a good chat with the nurse and told her that I still need help. She said that they'd phone me everyday until they could get me properly assessed.

There was no phone call the next day.
