What I liked

I attended A&E with what turned out to be a serious blood infection and the A&E senior nurse and consultant were excellent, at every stage I was informed of what was happening. The staff on the ward when I was admitted were excellent, from nursing assistants to the consultants and other doctors. I was treated with compassion throughout and would like to commend the professionalism of the staff. My follow up appointments in outpatients have also been of the same high standard.

What could be improved

A cooked breakfast on all wards! I did receive a cooked breakfast on the infectious diseases unit.
