I wnnt to Hexham's day treatment yesterday for minor surgery. All round good experience with no issues or problems. Everything went to plan and the staff were extremely professional.

Some technical problems with the NHS choices website meant we weren't notified of your post in the usual way so I hope this immediate response from us still feels timely for you. I also hope that you are recovering well at home and that your pain is manageable. We are understandably proud of our day surgery service - we know feedback from our patients is extremely positive and that developments within our service mean that these procedures can now go ahead with as little disruption to people's lives as possible.
