"Replacement Hip OP"

About: Warwick Hospital

Anything else?

Had my replacement hip operation on 7th May 2013 and was discharged 2 days later. Before the op I was very anxious but my fears were groundless. The surgeons and staff took great care with me and kept me informed throughout. Once home the SWATT team visited me for 2 days and then didn't need to see me again. I took the painkillers for a few weeks and used my crutches until 4 weeks. Yesterday had my post op appointment and they do not need to see me again for a year! The x-ray of my new implant looked very solid and I have also registered with the Ortho Card. I would like to thank all staff at Warwick Hospital including the Consultant for their care and dedication. It is appreciated. Jeff Best

Dear Jeff, thank you for taking the time to share these kind comments. I am really pleased to read that everything is going well post op.
