"I was admitted to the Queens hospital ..."

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was admitted to the Queens hospital as a day patient for a minor operation. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I was in the day patient area before and after my operation and the standards of hygiene and cleaniness were very good. I have no complaints about the treatment that I received.

What could be improved

Actually getting through to the hospital by telephone is not a easy procedure! It is very frustrating to continually ring and not to be able to get through. This is definitely something that needs improving. Also I handed a form in for an ultra-sound appointment nearly four weeks ago. I know the waiting list is long for the actual procedure but I thought at least I would have had been notified of the appointment date within a week or so of handing in the form. The administration side of things seems to need improvement.
