What could be improved

My daughter in law was contacted by phone at work to be told that the chances of her having a Downs Syndrome baby had been increase substantially folklowing her blood test. They told her to come in within two days to discuss the amniosyntesis test. She was hysterical when she phoned me - she hadnt taken in half the information given to her on the phone because she was so upset. For 48 hours she went through hell and then when she arrived at the hospital they took another look at her scan, told her her baby looked healthy and it was more risky to do the test!!!! They suggested she go home, act like the blood test had never happened and try not to worry !!!!!!

What sort of people work at this hospital. My daughter in law is 22 and it is her first baby - dontthese people care?????
