I had a total hip replacement in April, and would like first to thank the staff for their professional care. Not the nightmare I was expecting. The pain relief was immediate.They all worked very hard, yet always had time to help. Ann in particular never had time to draw a breath.
In difficult conditions she managed to shower about eight of us in one morning, although the "shower" room seemed unsuitable for this purpose. She got vey wet too. Maybe someone who could update the room should have words with her as she knows what she needs to have there. After several days in hospital I really appreciated that all over shower. Thank you Ann.
More Vegetarian meals would have been appreciated. Just Salad and Jacket potato & cheese every day would have been nice. Ham salad isn't vegetarian !
I am just getting used to 'looking after' my new hip was a worry but the staff gave good advice.
