We were apprehensive about using Care Opinion on our inpatient unit as we are a small Hospice serving Brent and Harrow and we thought it would be difficult to get patients and families to give us their feedback and stories at this difficult time in their lives.
How wrong we were!
We have found Care Opinion easy and enjoyable to use
We were so excited when we got our first story and that excitement doesn't wane when we are notified that we have another story
We went live in November and have had 11 stories so far and hope to continue to receive many more
Through suggestions we have made some positive changes to services and we are able to inform patients and families about these changes
One of the many benefits is that we are able to inform patients and families that we are listening them and using their feedback to make their experience better.
We have always informed our community that their opinion matters and through Care Opinion we now have forum to facilitate this
Thank you Care Opinion for always being available for help and support Aparna Linton, Clinical Governance Lead & Lorraine Gilbert, Clinical Manager Inpatient Unit

Hi Lorraine,
Thank you for the update! It sounds like using Care Opinion is going well for you at St Lukes and it was lovely to read how excited you get when someone shares a story. It is great that people feel confident to share their experiences with you!
