"Haematology clinic"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

Anything else?

My husband was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in July 2011. The care he has received from the moment he entered Preston Chemo unit has been second to none. The doctor has been amazing and the treatment and care my husband has received has been superb. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we come out of clinic feeling reassured and confident that together we can cope with this terrible illness. Without doubt all the staff in the unit are kind caring professionals who take pride in the care of their patients. It has made our experience of cancer much less traumatic and I am convinced that the level of continued care my husband is receiving is the reason he is now in remission.

Thank you for your comments which we'll pass on to cancer team. Hearing about good experiences motivates our staff and helps us identify what we're getting right and so share good practice. It is great to hear your husband is in remission, best wishes to you both.
