"I can’t speak highly enough of the staff"

I was admitted to ward 23 a few weeks ago. The care I received was outstanding and I was made feel welcome when I entered the ward. 

I was transferred from another hospital for surgery on my Hip. All the staff I met during my stay were extremely kind and helpful. I cannot recall each individual but Amanda, a staff nurse who was looking after me for 3 days, was amazing! An absolute credit to the ward - a professional and hard working lady who deserves to be acknowledged. Nothing was ever a problem for her and she has a bright positive attitude which is needed at such a time.

Amanda was with me before my surgery and came to collect me once my surgery was over.  It was great to see a familiar face and the care and attention after my operation was incredible. I was up walking within a few days and my pain was well controlled.

I can’t speak highly enough of the staff on ward 23 and I will be forever grateful of the care I received.
