Went in to the hospital for my issue and the nurse straight away had a very dismissive nature. Instead of asking me questions about my symptoms, how long I had this issue, she straight away asked me what I have been using to treat this. As I am on benefits and medically exempt I asked if I could have the medication prescribed and she said no as it is over the counter prescription. I have been prescribed medication for the same issue before. Also my Gp Livi have prescribed me medication that is available over the counter this year.
She clearly did not want to help me and her nature was very dismissive. I also showed her what medication I was given for the same issue this year and she didn’t want to listen. I checked the NHS website and my condition is not one of the conditions where you can get over the counter medication!
Absolutely awful service. Not happy
