After a recent not-so-great experience in outpatients, I was a little nervous about visiting the radiology department. Much to my relief, the appointment letter contained clear directions to the department and the reception staff efficiently attended to me and directed me to the correct waiting area. The radiologist was lovely, despite the fact that I had been unable to follow the correct procedure to enable the scan to go ahead. We were going to abandon the procedure, but, after chatting, realised that an alternative and better scan was possible and authorized. This involved extra preparation work for the radiologist, but she was happy to do this so that the appointment wasn't wasted. I was do pleased and relieved by the experience. Many thanks to the team!
