Firstly I’d like to raise the point of a ward for sick patients with mental health issues. I feel it would help to have a team of specialist nurses looking after them as it would enable everyone to get the best care they can. I think the admissions system needs to change as you can have a patient admitted with alcohol problems and then discharged the next day to the home health care team.
The staff have been very good to me at every level of care. They are all well trained and conscientious. The hospital itself is clean and well run. The staff are hands on and efficient. They are nice and capable and they do their best to make every patient feel comfortable. They are also able to have a laugh with patients and take time to speak with them. There is also a good variety of food, and there is as much or as little food as you want
