Went through major surgery this year.
Was told by the hospital that as part of my recovery my Doctor/Surgery would assist with everything needed to include checking the wound, nutrition, recovery, what to expect next etc.
Is the last 8 weeks I have seen the nurse several time for the bandage, when I asked about seeing the doctor re nutrition, what to expect next the Doctor response has been ‘later’. The only thing I have managed get from the doctor is a referral back to the hospital for a further blood test.
I’ve had to learn from the internet and decipher the good from the bad advice.
"Doctor appointments and after care non existent."
