"Very Bad Experience "

About: The North Leeds Medical Practice

I had knee injury in august 2021 after visited emergency I called my GP about my knee not being well with feeling not stable, discomfort and painful. I have been asked to take rest and it will automatically get better. then in few weeks . Few days later I called them again but I was advised same , I insisted for a scan but being denied by saying this can take up to 3 months. After few more weeks I call them again but they did not bother to even take a look at my knee. very very disappointed and suffered huge pain during all this period. Eventually I had to take private option , I was taken in straight away for MRI and found that my ACL had tear. I went through physio (private) sessions and eventually got my ACL reconstruction done. I called my GP surgery on day 4 after surgery for dressing and some blood coming out of the area being operated. Instead of helping me out I was told to contact private clinic where I was operated. I have no words to explain my frustration / depression / anger I went through after being treated so baddly . I wonder for what we are paying our tax money ?
