"Unhappy with mandatory masks"

About: Sexual Health Services - North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

I feel like my wishes or rights were not being respected as I was told I couldn't receive a consultation unless I wore a mask.

Dear redkw54

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the service you received and I'd like to apologise for you not feeling your wishes or rights were respected. We advise patients to wear a mask but should not be saying that patients can't have an appointment unless they wear a mask. I have reminded the whole team regarding this and I hope if you attend again, that we respect your wishes in the future.

Kind regards.

Julia Barraclough - Service Manager
