"Quick and efficient service"

I attended A&E at 0815 in 3/8/22 having fallen and injured my wrist. After a short wait I was seen by a triage nurse and immediately sent for a x-ray. I arrived at the x-ray department and waited less than 5 minutes before I was called in. After my x-ray I was sent to the Minor Injuries Clinic where again I was seen very quickly. The nurse confirmed that I had a minor fracture in my wrist and fitted a wrist support and sling. I was told I would receive a follow up call once my x-rays had been further reviewed by a specialist. I was discharged at 1000hrs. All the staff I had contact with were polite and efficient. My total time at the hospital was less than two hours which was contrary to my expectations in view of all the negative press coverage. All in all I feel I received a fantastic service from an efficient NHS. Thank you
