"Shocking levels of incompetence"

About: St Fillan's Medical Ctre

I request a repeat prescription from this surgery every month. In the last two years not a single one of these requests has been without either, a) some sort of mistake (medication missing) or b) ignored entirely.

I have been forced to submit my requests via email and in this time I haven't had a single reply confirmation or response to say that the request has been processed. It is total guess work, a complete lottery as to whether my prescription has been processed at all. Most recently I came to the pharmacy several days after submitting the email request to find it had been ignored, so i rang to complain / remind about the request. I came back a 2nd time some days later to find that there were items missing from the prescription. If this were a one off then i could forgive it, but it is literally every single time.

We have no record of any outstanding complaints at present. If you would like me to investigate, please submit your complaint in writing to gpccg.stfillans@nhs.net and we can investigate and hopefully resolve your issue. FYI - the easiest way to repeat prescription requests is via an online app such as the NHS App, Patient Access or MyGP. Details on how to register can also be found on our website. Please allow 48 hours for the surgery to process prescription requests.
