I was due a medication review and called the surgery to check some details relevant to my prescription. In an attempt to explain the receptionist kept interrupting me repeatedly leading to a confusing conversation. She then hung up on me. I called back to ask for a name of who I was speaking but was told that are not required to tell me their name but if I want to complain the practise manager would call me. No on has called. No one will take responsibility for putting the phone down on a mentally unwell patient. I would like to express that I did not sear or abuse the receptionist at all. I barely finished a sentence before she butted in. She clearly was having a bad day and took it out on me. It thoroughly unprofessional and I want an apology. She is a danger to patients.
