"Wonderful staff"

I had a week stay between Amu and ward 2a and I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of the wonderful staff who I saw and spoke to during my time there. Everyone was friendly, helpful, supportive and professional.

I’ve never had such a long stay as an inpatient before but I am glad I was in Whiston because the standard of care was exceptional.

I found the meals were tasty, and such a variety to choose from. Everywhere was clean and tidy and it’s a bright and airy hospital.

Honestly from the tea lady, to the porters, to the carers and nurses to the consultants - all were friendly and respectful and their efforts made my recovery all the more quick.

I have such a deep appreciation for the NHS and in my eyes you are all heroes.
