All the medical staff on Hollybank Ward made my day-stay for my bunionette surgery so much better than I ever thought, right from arrival, health checking, surgery, tea & biscuits, physio and finally through to discharge with new crutches, a heel weight bearing Darco shoe and aftercare. Jodie gets a special mention as she was in charge of me after my operation and ensured I was comfortable, looked after and understood the support and advice to take home.
The anaesthetist answered my questions and I felt reassured heading into my first general anaesthetic. I cannot thank the the hospital enough even now, after nearly a week since I was there.
