About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

My special needs, adult daughter attended the Orthodontics Department with her two carers on July 29th for extensive dental treatment under general anaesthetic.

Her carers have enthused about the consideration, care, kindness and respect that she was shown throughout her stay. Unfortunately, the review rules prevent me from mentioning names but you will know who you are.

You smoothed the path for my daughter, who gets distressed when in unfamiliar environments, and made her feel safe and comfortable in an extremely stressful situation.

Thank you to the dental surgeon and her team for their compassionate support. I am so grateful to you all.

Thank you for taking the time to share your daughter’s recent experience of our services. It is lovely to hear of the compassionate care that she received, in particular how safe and reassured she was made to feel. This really does reflect the high standard of care we strive to provide to all our patients.
