"Outstanding A&E kid staff "

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital

Just wanting to say a huge thank you to the nurses and doctors at Dewsbury A&E paediatric dept. My daughter who had quite severe croup and bad breathing, was taken care of, she was regularly monitored and was given medication quickly and effectively. An ambulance was rang who took her to pinderfields where she was also brilliantly cared for.

Thank you so much! Your nurses and staff are a credit. I will never forget through this scary time.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments regarding your recent experience of our Emergency Department at Dewsbury Hospital.

I cannot even begin to imagine how worried and upsetting seeing your daughter so poorly must have been. I am so pleased that you felt that all of the staff involved in your daughter's care and treatment were "a credit".

All of our staff aim to provide a high standard of care and treatment and it is clear that this has been both yours and your daughter's experience.

I will share your lovely feedback with the team as I know how much they will appreciate your kind words.
