"Thank you all for putting me back on my feet again"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 21-23)

(as the patient),

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Royal Alexandra Hospital Fracture clinic and particularly to the dedicated physiotherapist Louise.

I sustained a tri-malleolar fracture of my right ankle in March 2022, which required surgery.

My post-operative journey has been very smooth and has benefitted greatly from regular weekly appointments for physiotherapy. I have received an individual exercise plan which has been tailored to ensure that my recovery is optimal

My mobility has improved enormously and whilst I have a long recovery ahead of me, the benefit of having a physiotherapist within the Orthopaedic Fracture Clinic has mad a huge difference.

Thank you all for putting me back on my feet again!

Dear giraffeez44

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to your experience of attending the Trauma and Orthopaedics Department of the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

I was sorry to hear you had to attend the hospital for surgery after sustaining a fracture injury to your right ankle.

It was however great to hear your pre operative journey went smoothly and you have found the regular weekly appointments with the Physiotherapy Department to be beneficial in your recovery.

I'm glad everything is going well with your recovery and your mobility issues have improved.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to the team especially physiotherapist Louise who I'm sure will be touched to hear your comments.

I wish you well in your continued recovery and thanks again for your feedback this means a lot to the staff

Kind regards

Kevin
