My son is an adult with learning needs.
He developed pneumonia after catching Covid.
Groby Rd surgery were really helpful and the care was first class.
First the reception staff were very quick to respond to my query and ensured rapid relay of the information to the Doctor .
I was rung back promptly by the doctor who dealt with the problem with great compassion and understanding. Admission to hospital was decided as the best course.
Within 15 mins the bed bureau had rung us and arranged assessment at CDU ward in glenfield hospital.
There was a long wait to get sorted there but it was understandable as the place was so busy with many patients.
I couldn’t ask for better service from the reception staff and the doctor at Groby Rd and am extremely grateful for how my son’s problem was sorted.
