"Zero Capacity"

About: Wexham Park Hospital

Was taken to a&e for a blood test by ambulance once I complained of chest pain. Waited in the ambulance queue for 3 hours. I was told it would take another 7 hours to even move to the main a&e queue. I left the a&e and went back home, tired and exhausted

Dear Narayan,

Thank you very much for taking the time to give us feedback about your recent experience at Wexham Park.

Please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of the Trust and the team in ED for your experience and the situation you encountered.

I am unable to comment or speculate on what may or may not have happened in this instance but please be reassured that this is not the level of care we aim to deliver.

Kind regards,

Alex Jackson, Patient Experience Manager, Frimley Health Foundation Trust
