I attended The Glenfield’s Radiology Department for a ct scan with contrast on my aorta with some trepidation as I have very difficult veins but the staff reassured me and sure enough between the two of them cannulated me with apparent ease, which was such a relief as it meant I was able to relax to enable good results for my upcoming surgery. I was made to feel very comfortable too in the light of my Ehlers Danlos syndrome. I now will not hesitate to attend for future scans with less fear. Thank you so much Radiographers.
