For the past 4 months I have received outstanding care and attention twice a week from all members of the Health Care Assistants Team and several members of the Nursing Team at Wokingham Medical Centre to ensure a difficult and painful large ulcer on the edge of my right foot could be overcome and the tissue healed. Their combined professional skills and patience has ensured the fragile tissue on my right foot has now healed and no longer needs regular attention. Crucially it now means that a second approved full knee implant operation can possibly be undertaken for me later this year. I have also been introduced to the daily use of compression knee high socks/stockings to ensure greater protection from future knocks on my fragile skin on both lower limbs. Grateful thanks are extended to all six staff members concerned for all their patient and understanding care. They are all a credit to the NHS and Wokingham Medical Centre.
